TAKING FLIGHT WITH EAGLE’S WINGS

020810-eagle_in-flight2 I want to show you something that can catapult you into a new realm and heights.

Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. NKJV

The definition of the word wait in Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance is, OT:6960qavah (kaw-vaw’); a primitive root; to bind together (perhaps by twisting), i.e. collect; (figuratively) to expect: It carries the idea of braiding.)

The power of braiding your life by interweaving it with the truths revealed in God’s word is liberating to say the least and empowering to everyday living. Think of a young girl’s hair braided, then consider your life and God’s life coming together to form a new life.

Wait on the Lord, is an active verb. Spending time with the truths of the Bible by learning them and thinking on them certainly intertwines you and them. Faith is built on believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth.

Romans 10:8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. NKJV

An eagle can dive from the heavenliness to catch a prey at up to 80-90 miles an hour. That same eagle can slow down enough to scoop up a prey or grab a fish from the river on the fly. In a matter of minutes, he can be back in the air heading home.

When you stand and confess the word of God for help or deliverance, you can mount up quickly and find safety. Between you having the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, you are spiritually braided together with Him. The term mount up means to arise up; excel; break barriers; be released; be lifted up and much more.

Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.

The term saved, in the Greek, means rescued, and protected.

If ever, for instance, you are sliding on a slick road and your car is losing traction; call out immediately, “Jesus save me.” Remember, Peter was walking on the water in a storm and he began to sink. He called out for the Lord to save him, immediately; he was lifted up and walked to the boat. We could say that he mounted up with eagle’s wings.

So how can we get our lives intertwined with God’s Word? Faith comes from hearing and hearing comes from God’s Word. Now, what were our simple instructions? We are to believe in our heart and confess with our mouth.

It is important to follow Biblical instructions for the correct results.

1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you. NKJV

Peter had already spent enough time with the Lord to have faith in Him for saving him in the storm. You too, can call upon Jesus for salvation in what maybe a storm in your life.

Meditation is the renewing of your mind by renewing your thoughts consciously and sub-consciously by the Bible. The eagle, acts according to who he is, an eagle. You are a new creation in Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. NKJV

The truth is that you must learn how to be a new creation. There is a new realm and new heights waiting to catapult your life. When you were born again, the complete potential of you having the right to overcome all things was installed. You have the right of victory through Jesus Christ. Let me leave you with these thoughts form the scriptures.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith. NKJV

1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. NKJV

Until next time, may you grow in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord. Remember, it is important to follow Biblical instructions for Biblical results.

LET’S NOT BE IGNORANT

figure_4_trap2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. KJV

Satan has a subtle trap which is offense. Nations, governments, companies, churches, friendships, families, marriages and more have been destroyed by offense which leads to strife and division.

Offense begins from many sources such as: unforgiveness over what was done or not done, disappointments, grudges, pride, being slighted by others (intentionally or even unintentionally), feelings of being treated unfairly.
Sometimes people are even in offense towards God due to unanswered prayers for themselves or others.

Offense is fear based. Fear is satan’s mode of operation (MO).
Fear is:
False
Evidence
Appearing
Real

So many times when we are offended it is a wrong perception that we have.
Luke 17:1 Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, NKJV
Jesus tells us here that it is impossible to live lives without offenses coming to us.

Rick Renner gave this translation:

It is simply unthinkable that you would allow yourself to dream that you could live this life without an opportunity to be lured into a situation that could potentially snare you in the feelings of offense….
Rick Renner, Sparkling Gems from the Greek

The Greek word for offense is skandalon. (our English word, scandal, derives from this)
In those days hunters would set a trap that had a bait stick (skandalon) inside it. When an animal came into the trap and brushed by and touched the bait stick (skandalon) the cage would come down and catch him.

Offense comes and it will come to us in various forms: big, important issues and small, tiny issues. Such as our feelings get hurt: someone doesn’t smile at us, says something rude, doesn’t thank us, etc. etc.
However offense comes and it will come, the important thing is what are we going to do about it. My husband says that:

We cannot control the actions of others but we can control our reaction to their action.
Pastor Ed Barnes

If we allow it to get to us we take the bait from the stick (skandalon) and snap the trap of satan. We become offended. This will cause strife, division and lead to us having unforgiveness and bitterness then leading to a hard heart. We simply cannot afford to take the bait and become trapped.
Satan may have the skandalon but we do not have to take offense and allow him to win.
We can make a decision right here, right now to refuse to become offended no matter what anyone does or doesn’t do regarding us or our loved ones.

Please pray this out loud.
In Jesus Name, I refuse to become offended from this day forward. I will not take the bait of satan. I will walk in love and forgiveness. This is my choice given to me by Jesus. Amen!

Another way skandalon is used in the Word of God is: stumbling block or occasion to fall.

A wise woman of God, Sister Sheffield, who pastored in the Bronx, NYC once told me that I could use these occasions as a stumbling block or a stepping stone.
So can you. What will you choose? A stumbling block? Stepping stone?

Let’s go back to our text in Luke 17; it goes on to say but woe to him through whom they do come!

Whether we like it or not, we will offend people, either intentionally or unintentionally. We must make every effort not to do so. But if we do, we should try to make it right. Unless they are offended when we speak the truth of God’s Word in love. Then we should pray for them and put them in the Lord’s hands.

Let’s continue in Luke 17: 3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

We must give people an opportunity to settle differences, get things out in the open and reconcile our relationships.
But what if they are not repentant regarding the issue? Forgive them anyhow.

Immediately after Mark 11:23, 24 comes:

Mark 11:25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses. NKJV

We all want and need our Father God’s forgiveness but we see in order to receive that forgiveness we must forgive any and all offenses. Also if we want our faith to work we must forgive any and all offenses.

To quote my husband again:

Understand that no matter how much faith we have, if we hold onto offense our faith won’t work.
Pastor Ed Barnes

Now let’s pray out loud again:
Father God, through the power of Your Holy Spirit please reveal to me any unforgivness I may be harboring. I release any and all unforgiveness. I ask you, Holy Spirit, to reveal to me anyone that I have offended and open a way for me to make this right. Father God, thank you for forgiving me and providing Your Son, Jesus, as the sacrifice for my forgiveness, in Jesus Name, Amen.

FAVOR
The whole position of man is favorable from God’s perspective. Faith is the pipeline through which grace (favor) flows. This doesn’t mean mankind doesn’t have a role to play in this relationship.

What exactly is favor? Well, favor is defined as excessive Kindness or unfair partiality; preferential treatment: to treat some people with favor and others with neglect. Simply put, to do something for someone, with or without any cause on their end that God would do for all that believe.

His favor was announced in the beginning: Luke 2:14 “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” NIV

Notice, man must receive God’s offer of salvation through Jesus Christ before grace’s favor can be obtainable to you. Grace is certainly unmerited favor by which salvation is given; however, it also is the power-word describing the Holy Spirit’s operational means. Favor is a force in the container of grace. It is a verb as well as a noun. It is the action of God on our behalf! For all God’s blessings, such as favor, they must be believed in the heart and confessed with your mouth.

Grace (favor toward mankind) is the realm, where all of God’s Kingdom purposes and will, through salvation can be achieved. It is where the priestly Kingdom operates freely.
Sovereign favor through grace is an enabling power sufficient for growth and help. It is the sovereign favor of God’s grace, that overcomes certain limitations, weaknesses, flaws, impurities, and faults (i.e. carnality) that humankind cannot overcome. It also causes supernatural help from the Lord in everyday circumstances. Speak favor into your life with faith and confidence and you will see supernatural interventions on your behalf. Then give Him the glory.

Psalm 5:12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. NKJV
The whole position of man is favorable from God’s perspective. If you have been born-again, this means you.

1. Salvation has brought us to a position of restoration of all things.
2. The whole essence of God’s grace toward us is favor. The whole marvel of the gospel is the special favor of God through Jesus Christ.
3. We have been translated (moved positionally) into the Kingdom of God. We must learn to operate in the Kingdom’s methods and authority.
4. We are anointed with the Holy Spirit and power. The anointing removes the burdens and destroys the yokes that bind.
5. The Kingdom of God operates in union with the revealed Word of God. You must speak faith words in union with God’s word, for favor to work.
6. You have been given the name of Jesus for authority over all the power of your enemies. Stop speaking your fears and speak that you are strong in the
Lord and the power of His might.
7. Favor demonstrates the Love of God extended to each of us.

Begin today confessing favor in all activities you are engaged in.

Please send us a report of what happens when you put this into practice in your life.

SPIRIT OF FAITH

FaithGenesis 1:26 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” NKJV

I have learned the power of faith is released in the Holy Spirit. Excitement comes from seeing and knowing something good is obtainable to you. The term enthusiasm comes from the Greek word entheo. This word means filled with God.
It is good to know that being in Christ is exciting. There should be a basis of faith in your Christian life that keeps you in enthused.

Don’t just learn about faith, faith principles; the power of God’s Words, and the power of words as you would in school. These revealed truths come from the Holy Spirit. These words God has given to us are spirit words.

John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.64 But there are some of you who do not believe NKJV

The life Jesus is talking about is zoe.Zoe is another Greek word meaning the God kind of life; a primary verb that means to quicken or bring to life that which wasn’t alive.
God isn’t giving us lessons on what used to be, but what continues to be now. This isn’t about an old book called the Bible. It isn’t about the ancient times. It is about the spirit of faith giving life to us through the Word of God today, now in 2013.

2 Corinthians 4:13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,14 knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you.15 For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God. NKJV

There is an old story told relating to the great depression of the 1930’s. A person needed to hire one man. A line formed with many people. The secretary let them in one at a time. The person hiring had an idea, he began tapping out Morse code. The message said, “If you understand this message; get out of the line and run to the front, into the office and tell me what I said. You will get the job. One man heard and understood what was being relayed. When people saw he got the job they complained, so the man hiring explained that he needed someone who knew Morse code. All heard the tapping, but all did not understand its meaning.

Can you hear the message of God’s Word? Can you hear enough to speak your faith? Can you hear God is with you, who therefore can be against you. Nothing is impossible if you can believe. He said to the woman with the issue of blood, “Daughter thy faith has made you whole”. We are the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are born of His Spirit. Please listen to the sound God is tapping out. If you can hear the sounds of faith, nothing is impossible!

God created us in His own image. He created us to go and subdue your mountains. Quit being a continuous complainer. Use the authority of dominion as in Genesis 1:26-27 and Luke 10:19 reads, “Behold I give you the power over all the power of your enemies.”
Faith comes from hearing a sound; can you hear the sound from the word? Our hearing is very important. The world is always saying there are haves and have-nots, but that is not what God says. He says there are hearers and hear-nots.

Mark 4:23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear. “Then He said to them, “Take heed to what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. NKJV

If you are saved, your foundation is the spirit of faith. If you are filled with the Holy Ghost, talking in tongues; your foundation is the spirit of faith. If you are a Word of Faith Christian; your foundation is the spirit of faith. Don’t walk around like you are in the dark! You are not in the dark, listen to the powerful Word of God. Speak the Word you need to hear the sound of the Word spoken. This for anybody, everybody, even a somebody; it is especially for you!

Faith begins with hearing a certain sound that many cannot hear.
Romans 10:17-18 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed: “Their sound has gone out to all the earth, And their words to the ends of the world.” NKJV

We don’t hear the government saying “let’s go to prayer and ask the Lord.” I don’t hear the news programs saying ‘” Let’s go to prayer.” No, I hear them saying “Don’t push your religion on other people.” Faith in God can save the nation, change people’s lives, give hope; defeat the fear that is drowning so many.

We are the church of Jesus Christ. Nothing is impossible to people who know how to ask God according to His Word. But we must quit living in doubt!
The spirit of faith is a positive attitude based on God’s Word. A person cannot be negative, critical and constantly complaining and claim to have the Spirit of faith.
Mountains have to be talked to Jesus said. But if you say “mountain be thou removed and don’t doubt it your heart; you will have whatever you say.”

The spirit of faith is contagious, but you must be around someone who has it. It is caught! Abraham passed it on to his children; Joshua caught it from Moses; Elisha caught it from Elijah; the disciples caught it from Jesus; Timothy caught it from Paul.
Today we can catch the spirit of faith from God’s men and women who have it. You must be somewhere you can hear the tapping of Holy Spirit. Beth and I heard the tapping of faith many years ago and we want you to hear it too.
Elijah said: “I hear the sound of abundance”, what do you hear?
Elijah heard the sound of abundance of rain; no one else did. He began to declare it. Then He prayed about it; then he would come back to see if it was there yet. The Spirit of faith was telling him, it is on its way.

2 Corinthians 4:13-15 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak.

Let’s say it too, I believe, therefore I speak!

Jesus came and gave us life abundantly. Stop your tongue from praising the Devil for all the negative events, and start praising God for a good life, it will begin to happen.
Remember this: “Life and death are in the power of the tongue” Proverbs 18:19

Faith calls those things which be not as though they were. Romans 4:17
The spirit of faith is changing lives for good for those who will dare to believe. Is that you? It can be!

HONORING GOD AND HIS PROMISES

As believers we are so blessed to know that God is with us even though the world seems to be careening out of control.  Abraham believes

When we are born again God makes Himself known to us. There are billions of people who are facing extreme events in life with no thought of a loving God. They can’t call on Him to help them, because they don’t know Him. However, if you know Him you can call on Him to help no matter what you may be facing. You have promises such as:

Hebrews 13:5 …for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  KJV

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. KJV

When we received salvation, we received a supernatural connection to God. Our connection gives us covenant standing with Him. We have thousands of promises of God’s help in every situation.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Give the Lord, praise and honor for your salvation; for your connection of hope for victory.  Give God honor by believing His Word. Jesus said in John 15:7-8 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”

He added this statement in John 15:8 “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”

The word believe is powerful!  Abraham believed God and it made him righteous. Being righteous solidified the promise to all the people who now believed through faith.  (Rom. 4:2; 16) The Lord went so far as to call faith righteousness.

Belief means to entrust one’s wellbeing to someone. When you accepted salvation, you had to believe. That belief gave you a righteous standing in Almighty God. Righteousness is your enabler to receive all the promises of help and deliverance.  When we believe God’s Word, we honor God.

Abraham became known as a man favored by God.

Genesis 14:19 Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.

Let us follow Abraham’s example.  We are Christians, the anointed ones with the promises of God Almighty.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. KJV

God made Himself known to us when we were saved. Say this out loud to solidify your belief in God and His promises.

“I believe God is; God exists and that the God I believe in is for me not against me; so I have no problem believing in the rest of the promises; as I grow in Him.”

Now give the Lord honor by believing His Words and you will see an increase of fulfilled promises, help, and deliverance from your enemies.

TRIUMPHANT AWARENESS

thCA1X96XPWe believe 2013 is “The Year of Triumph” for the Church.  God wants us to continually grow in knowledge and experience in our Christian life. Someone once said, ”Man would always be pushing the boundaries of life and achievement.”  Somebody has to climb the mountain; somebody has to expand technology; discover better ways of doing things, and on and on. To allow ourselves to get complacent will rob us of many victories the Lord has for us.

My whole life changed when I saw that Jesus had already won the battle for us. He came that we might be saved and victorious.

John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. NKJV

The Greek word for saved is sozo which means heal, preserve, save, do well, be whole and protect.

Knowing this can make us more aware of the power of the word of God that was sent to deliver us from all our destructions.

Psalm 107:20 He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. NKJV

2 Corinthians 2:14-15 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. NKJV

A person becomes that which he or she is aware of and tends to focus on. For instance, Kenneth Copeland began to bring a message many years ago that can catapult your Christian life forward. The theme was “Righteous Consciousness, instead of “sin consciousness.”

2 Corinthians 5:20-21 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. NKJV

This is a gift of righteousness, not payment; not wages; someone else paid our price. The awareness or consciousness of this truth began to change my confidence level to an extraordinary high. We are righteous by God’s decree through Jesus Christ.   Abraham was declared righteous because he believed God.

Romans 4:17….. he believed – God…… 21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. 22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” NKJV

Becoming conscious of righteousness unlocks your spirit to do the right thing before God more and more; not less as some would think.

Remember whatever God promises in His Word; He will do it for you.

1 John 5:4-5 For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]? AMP

The Greek word for victory is nike which means to conquer, overcome, prevail, and get the victory. This term nike; is always God’s intention for us. Every time you see victory in the Bible that is your position scripturally in life. God declares it through Jesus Christ.

Every Christian has the potential of victory in every situation because Jesus won it for us!

Awareness comes from the universal law of focus.

Proverbs 25:5 As a man thinks in his heart so is he.

The reason right thinking is so important is that the mind is our staging and clearing house to process thought and information. This is where we will decide to use or discard information received.

This is where our choices are formulated for action. The Law of Concentration states that whatever we dwell on grows in our life experience. Whatever we think about on a continual basis becomes a part of us. Yes, we become what we think, and the more we dwell on something, the more we have of it in our lives.

I used this truth in learning to ski and play golf; however I first learn it in getting healed of arthritis many years ago.

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; KJV

The definition of imaginations is: the imagine-making power of the mind; the power to create or reproduce ideally an object of sense previously perceived; the power to call up mental imagines.

When believing for healing of arthritis, I set an image of running, jumping and great joy. I saw what I believed I received in faith. Faith will always lead us to see the right images in your mind.  If we allow the wrong images in our mind, it is like unknowingly letting the devil in.

Paul gave us some important guide lines:

I Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. NKJV

When we get saved, our spirit is regenerated by the Holy Spirit, but our mind must be renewed by the word of God.

Romans 12:.2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. NKJV

Let’s look at three very important words: 1) conformed-pattern or fashion.

2) transformed-metamorphose or to transfigure, change the image. 3) renovation-take out the old for the new.

The Word of God is spirit and is truth (John 6:63), now, add that to Christ being the Anointed One and His anointing. The anointing removes burdens and destroys the yokes that bind us.

Success and victory come in every circumstance by the Word of God being continually in your mouth and then acting on the Word. Talk and dwell on the Word, not your problems and the Devil won’t have much to work with in your life.

Prayer:  Father God, Thank You for the victory provided for me by Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Please help me to keep Your Word in my mouth and to act on Your Word.

In Jesus Name, amen!

HOPE IN TROUBLED TIMES

Thank God, there is hope in troubled times!  There is someone to look to for real help. The message of Jesus Christ is much more than just a spiritual feeling for an afterlife. God sent His Son into the world, not to condemn it, but to save it; to rescue those who respond to His call.

Jesus said inLuke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” NKJV

These words are a declaration of Jesus about His mission. The Gospel is Good News to those who have no reason to hope. The poor are people who need help in many situations without the means of deliverance. The brokenhearted are the hurting, lonely people of this world. His message is the proclamation of liberty, the recovery sight to see the way to go, to have your eyes opened to God’s love and help. To set, means to grant or give liberty to the oppressed; spiritually, emotionally, mentally, etc. To be accepted by the Lord now, not later. To see the power of salvation continually!

Hope is knowing your situation will change for good. A rescue plan is coming by the hand of the Lord. Hope is future, but future is in the next moment until it happens.  True Hope is expectation. It is similar to a woman being pregnant. She knows a child is growing inside of her. If you know God, His promise to never leave you will open a way of deliverance. Actually, hope from a Biblical view, is joyful expectation. Never let the enemy of your faith abort your hope and faith in answered prayer.

Jesus said He was anointed by the Spirit of the Lord. The term anointed means to remove the burdens and destroy the yokes. Sin has huge consequences. The spirit of the world is under a curse. You can have that curse removed by believing in Jesus Christ.

Galations 3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.

Being born again means that we believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, has been raised from the dead for our salvation, and has forgiven our sins and made us new creations.

Now, comes the realization of Christ in you the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. NKJV

We live in a very troubled time.  However, we do not have to be fearful, worried, or full of dread. In the Word of God can find continual hope. Listen to the heart of Christ; don’t go by the nay-sayers.

Matthew 9:35-36 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

God always has a rescue plan; that means you always have a reason for hope. You can see God is not your problem, He is your solution. I want you to see two more truths to demonstrate reasons for hope.

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. NKJV

Remember the anointing removes burdens and destroys yokes. It could be said this way; the anointing has the power to remove the cause of your trouble and heal you of all its effects.

Finally, you can see Jesus is God’s answer these troubled times.

Roman 10:8-13 “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” NKJV

Reach out today for genuine help. Ask Jesus to help you, not just in the crisis, but help to avoid the crisis. Beth and I know the power of hope on a continual basis. We have experienced the avoidance of many crises through living in God’s help. We want you to know you don’t have to live troubled in troubling times.

Prayer:   Father God, I call on you to help me, to give me answers and deliverance from the fear and the emotional roller-coaster I am experiencing. Thank you for your Word of hope and help to me. I am expecting peace and deliverance today. In Jesus Name, amen!
