HONORING GOD AND HIS PROMISES

As believers we are so blessed to know that God is with us even though the world seems to be careening out of control.  Abraham believes

When we are born again God makes Himself known to us. There are billions of people who are facing extreme events in life with no thought of a loving God. They can’t call on Him to help them, because they don’t know Him. However, if you know Him you can call on Him to help no matter what you may be facing. You have promises such as:

Hebrews 13:5 …for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  KJV

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. KJV

When we received salvation, we received a supernatural connection to God. Our connection gives us covenant standing with Him. We have thousands of promises of God’s help in every situation.

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Give the Lord, praise and honor for your salvation; for your connection of hope for victory.  Give God honor by believing His Word. Jesus said in John 15:7-8 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”

He added this statement in John 15:8 “By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”

The word believe is powerful!  Abraham believed God and it made him righteous. Being righteous solidified the promise to all the people who now believed through faith.  (Rom. 4:2; 16) The Lord went so far as to call faith righteousness.

Belief means to entrust one’s wellbeing to someone. When you accepted salvation, you had to believe. That belief gave you a righteous standing in Almighty God. Righteousness is your enabler to receive all the promises of help and deliverance.  When we believe God’s Word, we honor God.

Abraham became known as a man favored by God.

Genesis 14:19 Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.

Let us follow Abraham’s example.  We are Christians, the anointed ones with the promises of God Almighty.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. KJV

God made Himself known to us when we were saved. Say this out loud to solidify your belief in God and His promises.

“I believe God is; God exists and that the God I believe in is for me not against me; so I have no problem believing in the rest of the promises; as I grow in Him.”

Now give the Lord honor by believing His Words and you will see an increase of fulfilled promises, help, and deliverance from your enemies.
