Every believer has been given a new life and opportunities that are beyond our immediate understanding.  There are many people who would give anything for a second chance in life.  The believer has been given a second chance and power through Jesus Christ to obtain a good life.  The scripture says in 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. Now all things are of God; NKJV

What does all things have become new mean?  When you look around things outside look the same, however, there is a new life deposited in you, by the Spirit of God.  Christ is the power to wash away the old by His sacrifice.  You have been made an overcomer, more than a conqueror in this life. That is a treasure deposited in your inner man.

I also, want you to think about forgiveness and the two powerful results of forgiveness through Jesus Christ.  One is closure of stressful relationships and two is cleansing of bad conduct, then you can start again.

   Whenever you hear the word treasure, you have certain thoughts or images that come to mind.  You think of how lucky that person was or they were in the right place at the right time. I don’t really believe in luck as a major player in life’s results, but I know what forgiveness can do.

There is something else that has power for any individual; the power of belief; Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.  This is one of the treasures you have, belief given from God.  All people have some kind of belief system; however you can define yours from scripture.

The Biblical definition of treasure is a deposit of wealth.  People have searched for wealth for centuries.  Treasure would be quite exciting, yet even more exciting is knowing that you have been endowed by God with the ability to change your life.

Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things. That which is in your heart is a treasure for good but it is invisible until you speak it and act on it.  The word of promise is a seed planted in your heart. Your life is the ground that receives the seed, where it can grow and produce.

The power of faith sees the beyond the limitations of circumstances to bring to pass the dream God has given you. Don’t be confused by your past in determining your future. Today is the beginning of the rest of your life.

Hebrews 11:1-3 What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see. 2 God gave his approval to people in days of old because of their faith. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. NLT

The spiritual dimension is not considered a power player in the natural course of living, yet to God it is the source of everything you can see, touch, or feel.  So begin today to chart your course by the dream that is in your heart.
